Flash Talks
ALL Division session proposals must be submitted online by Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET.
Flash Talk sessions feature up to six short, fast-paced presentations of no more than five minutes each on timely topics in psychology. Presentations may focus on research, education, or practice.
These sessions should include interactive elements to engage the audience. Organizers are encouraged to build in time (e.g., 10 minutes for every three talks) for discussion or participation. Interaction might include audience questions, structuring the session around a theme that invites conversation, or setting aside time for small group discussions.
Flash Talk proposals must be submitted by a group of up to six presenters around a shared theme. Individual submissions are not accepted. Divisions may also propose Flash Talk sessions with presenters to be selected later (e.g., from poster submissions).
TIP! Make sure your proposal aligns with the goals of the Division you are submitting to by reviewing their program requirements.
All APA 2026 proposals must be submitted online through the call for proposals platform by Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET.
